Story
The story starts in San Romero High School, the largest high school in the district, somewhere on the west coast of the US of A. Protagonist Juliet Starling, is an exemplary student of San Romero who passionately loves cheerleading. Unbeknownst to most, however, her family, the Starlings, has been a lineage of zombie hunters, guiding the undead to beyond since ancient times…
The incident unfolds on Juliet’s birthday. She heads to school to meet her boyfriend, but as she pedals her bicycle into the school grounds, she is greeted by the sight of her former schoolmates, who have all been turned into zombies!
My Experience
Chainsaw Lollipop was something I grew up with when it was initially released, when I played it for the very first time I was entranced with its visuals and story plot with its humor and combinations of blood with rainbow sparkles. When It was first announced that there would be a Remake I was ecstatic and purchased on the very first day, gameplay wise everything was very smooth, and felt like I had control however, I did encounter a few glitches in the game where some boss fights I couldn’t attack or progress the game which had me to restart the level which was a tad annoying.
The game has a Repop and Original Mode which kept OG fans in consideration But I played in the Repop Mode because the way they visualize the effects was so satisfying whenever you would kill zombies.
When it came down to completing the trophies it was very easy with its simple kill zombies with this specific action, complete collectibles, etc. I would recommend this game for people who want to start platinum trophy collecting!
Easiest Trophy: | Zombie Hunter Apprentice |
Hardest Trophy: | Go, Medal Racer, Go! |
I would give this an overall rating of 9/10 Zombie Head’s with its amazing combat system and unique game story!
