My Experience

Baldur’s Gate 3 was something I did not initially hear about until the 2024 Game Awards when they won Game of The Year and had a huge controversy because Spider-Man 2 was a competitor in the category, at first I wasn’t going to play this game because of its very complex lore and strategy system but my younger sibling convinced me to play because of how amazing those things were and he was right. Baldur’s Gate is a game that deserves to be Game of the Year because of how much you can do, this game introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons and me understand it more but I was engaged with the whole world’s buildings and characters.

The charm behind the game was how much you can do and how many path lines and friendships you can carry into the final part, you can take a hero route, an evil route, or even a neutral route where you don’t follow good or bad and this is not including all the characters and customization you can do! I would say as intimidating as the whole game looks once you get into it you start to understand it more and it just grabs you immediately.

When it came down to the actual trophies I would say this is a very time-consuming game than actually difficult, I had to go through 3 campaigns and each campaign would take about 12 hours in my personal opinion but even though It was very time-consuming I designated each campaign with a different route path that made it very distinct and unique. I would say that this platinum run is for immediate players.

Easiest Trophy:The Plot Thickens
Hardest Trophy:Critical Hit

I would give this rating an overall 10/10 Dice roll’s with its rich lore and heavy customization. players will be engaged in this rich driven world!
